IPU CET LAW (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test)

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test). It used to admit candidates into its BA/BBA LLB programmes, which will now be through the CLAT. The candidates will get their seats on the basis of their CLAT scores. Eligible candidates will be able to fill out the IPU CET law 2023 application form before the deadline by visiting the official website - ipu.ac.in.The university will offer admission to BA LLB, BBA LLB and LLM programmes on the basis of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)2023. Hence candidates had to fill the non-CET application form of IPU law, and use CLAT scores for getting admission.

IPU CET Law Eligibility Criteria 2023

Nationality: Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
Age Limit: Applicants age should be 17 to 21 years old.
Marks Required: Candidates will have to score a minimum of 55% marks.

LLB: Passed class 12 with at least 50% in any stream and english should be a core or elective subject.Candidates shall appear in CLAT as the university will not conduct its own CET for admission in LLB

LLM: LLB Degree as required by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an advocate with not less than 55%.An equivalent law degree from foreign university shall also be applicable.The candidates are required to take CLAT PG for the particular academic year.

IPU CET Law Seats and Reservation

85% of seats are reserved for Delhi area candidates, which means that candidates from any school/institute located in NCR Delhi have passed the qualifying examination. These seats will be filled out by means of a merit/rank list of the respective CET code prepared for candidates from the Delhi area. Applicants who have passed the qualifying examination via any recognised University/Distance/Open Institute's Education system and have their Study Centres in Delhi will be treated as Delhi Region Candidates. In such cases, applicants would also be expected to prove themselves to be candidates with valid evidence in Delhi.
15% of seats are reserved for applicants outside Delhi, which means applicants from any school/institute outside Delhi who has passed their qualifying degree.
For institutions based in Delhi/NCR, the division of seats will be carried out on the basis of candidates from Delhi and outside of Delhi for whom the NCTD will take a decision.

IPU CET 2023 Admit Card

During the second week of May 2023, the IPU CET Law 2023 admission card will be made available. By entering their user ID and password on the IPU CET Law official website, candidates can get their admission cards. To sit for the exam, you must bring a picture ID with you to the testing location along with your admission card.

Steps to Download IPU CET 2023 Admit Card

Application Fee for IPU CET Law 2023:

Candidates have the option of paying the application cost online.
The application fee can be paid by debit card, credit card, or net banking.
For each course, the applicant must submit an application fee of 1000 rupees.

IPU CET 2023 Answer Key

Once the entrance exam has been successfully conducted, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will release the IPU CET 2023 answer key. The IPU CET 2023 will be held in an offline format. Candidates who take the entrance exam will be able to compare their answers to those in the IPU CET answer key. IPU CET Law 2023 Result

The university will announce the dates for the IPU CET Law Result announcement. The results will be made available online on the official website, where candidates may verify and download them after providing their login information. Participants may request their OMR sheet by paying the appropriate cost in the event that there is any uncertainty or discrepancy regarding the results. The selected applicants will be contacted for the counselling session.

IPU CET 2023 Cutoff

The cutoff for IPU CET 2023 will be announced by GGSIPU. Candidates who achieve a score that is equal to or greater than the provided cut-off will be admitted to the university.

The IPU CET cutoff for 2023 will be released shortly after the results are announced. The cutoff will be announced in four rounds (first, second, third, and sliding) and by course and institute. These cut-off rounds will be further divided into three categories: all India, Delhi region, and outside Delhi region.
